manufacturers use different sizing and many sizes are the same or
similar.
- many manufacturers size their
gym leotards differently so make sure to check the size charts link found at the bottom of the page
- the MOST IMPORTANT measurement is
the girth/torso
- be careful with street size
comparisons (ex. 4-6 years) as the length of the body, versus length of the
legs, can result in the same age gymnast
taking a size that is 2 or 3 sizes bigger or smaller than her friends
- sizing sometimes varies even
within the same manufacturer due to fabric stretch or style
